Automatic disconnection after twelve hours
From today, Collaborate will automatically disconnect all users after the session has been open for twelve hours. Blackboard now assumes that those people in the session are there unintentionally. Postponed: Large sessions support for 1000 attendees
Previously announced for release last week, the ability to have 1,000 attendees in a large session has been postponed. Blackboard say there are performance concerns in particular use cases which need to be adressed, and that the feature will be released as soon as they can. Collaborate v20.22
Collaborate will be upgraded to v20.22 on 10 December 2020, featuring improvements to two areas. After 6 August 10 September, any Collaborate sessions created will have public access to recordings switched off by default. A new option will be available when creating a session, Allow public access.
