Collaborate Recording Conversions Problem

It transpires that there is a problem with the recording converter that turns standard Collaborate recordings into mp4 videos.

Description – The recording will appear to have converted but when trying to play it back the video will at best be only a few seconds long.

Although Collaborate assure us that they are working on a fix for this problem there is no ETA on when this will be available.

 

They have suggested a work around of using the Collaborate Publish tool but we are currently experiencing problems with this also.

This should not affect any converted recordings that have already been confirmed as working. Unfortunately the only way to tell if a recording has  converted properly is to attempt to watch it.
