New features

Pause breakout groups without closing them

Bring students back to the main room from their breakout groups by clicking the Pause button. When it is time for them to return to the breakout group, click Resume. and they can pick up where they left off.

Anonymise mentions in recordings

If moderators have chosen the option to anonymise names in session recordings, as of this release any chat mentions (using the @ notation) will also be anonymised.

Chime beta

For those of you who are opting sessions into the Chime beta, there will be two new features available

  • Enhanced noise reduction – read more.
  • Breakout groups and polls – including some improvements over their equivalent functions in standard Collaborate sessions. Read more.
