Maintenance Window

As part of moving from Canada to Europe, our maintenance windows now fall outside of our working day, rather than finishing at 1100 BST.

Collaborate’s maintenance window will begin at 0000 and end at 0400 BST (See details for other time zones).

New Features

Blackboard Group Sets to Breakout Groups

Use your Blackboard course’s existing Groups to prepopulate Collaborate’s breakout groups.

Note This feature doesn’t work with single Groups in Blackboard, they must be part of a Group Set.

There is no confirmed date for when this will be available at Aston; The feature will roll out between 9-13 September.

Unsupported Browser Warning

Blackboard Collaborate requires that you keep your web browser up to date. If you are using an unsupported browser, you will see a warning prior to joining the session.
