Small fonts and incorrect text alignment in chats

rtaImageA recent update to Java results in small/unreadable fonts and strange alignment in the chat window

At present, only a workaround is available: downgrade your version of Java

If you use the Collaborate Launcher to join sessions, you are unaffected.

This is only an issue for those who are unable to use the Launcher. I.e. people connecting to sessions using Linux, or versions of OS X prior to 10.8
